This blog serves two main purposes. I share my story of how I got my spinal cord injury and what the recovery process was like and what it is like living with it today. I hope to educate people on spinal cord injuries because it is something that people know little about. I also live with bipolar disorder, which is what led to my accident in the first place. I talk about what it is like to live with bipolar disorder. I also hope to educate people on bipolar disorder because I believe it is a mental health disorder that people do not understand and have misconceptions about.
Go to the archives in July 2012 and start from the very beginning and go up. You will see how my attitude has changed from negative to positive over the years.
My goal for this blog is to just change one life. Thank you for visiting and I hope you enjoy everything that I have to say! Thank you for your support!

Hi Adam,
I was not sure how to correspond with you personally. I am one of your mom and Aunt Pam’s friends from here in Forest Cove. I was at a fund raiser last night with Jim Tressel. Since I have enjoyed the connection the two of you have on your blog, and I have met Jim before, such a great guy!! I sat down to say hello to Jim and his wife and I brought you up, to say that I really appreciate the friendship you have with each other. He was very complimentary to you and I just know that the two of you have a connection. Jim is a wonderful and generous man and I enjoyed talking with him about you. I love reading your blog and hearing your story. What an inspiration!! You have such wonderful parents and family. I can’t imagine the support. I hope to work with you some day.
Thanks so much. Keep up the good work.
